  • Opening: Test Prep Tutors for EST-PST hours (Independent Contractor)

‍We’re seeking exceptional test prep tutors, primarily for SAT and ACT. Would you like to join us?

Russell Tutoring & Consulting (RTC) is an independent boutique education company now celebrating our 10th year.  We offer virtual 1-to-1 tutoring to students across the United States and around the world. We also offer in-person tutoring and small-group classes at our West Philadelphia office, as well as weekend classes in Montgomeryville, PA.

We specialize in healthy test prep: our programs emphasize calm, confident, focused test-taking by mindful test-takers. RTC is the only test prep company that pairs expert performance coaches with test specialists to nurture our students' success.

We’re hiring talented, knowledgeable, reliable, enthusiastic, and inspirational test prep instructors. We will especially consider teachers who have either mindfulness experience or training, or who are also qualified to tutor ISEE/SSAT/HSPT, GRE/GMAT/MCAT, other STEM subjects, and/or Writing.

As a test prep instructor with RTC, you’ll meet with students weekly; evening and weekend availability is a must. Depending on the admissions exam, you’ll usually support middle and high school students preparing for specific test dates. Some are high achievers aiming for elite scores, while others find RTC because test-taking is a monumental challenge. Of course, their executive functioning will vary; some will also need scaffolding support and mentoring in study skills, especially those most effective for test-taking.
